Improving efficiency in construction projects at Construction Week
eviFile exhibited with Vertemax at UK Construction Week this month showing construction professionals how to streamline workflow, protect field data and deliver a visible chain of evidence for every project and build.
UK Construction Week is the country’s largest built environment event, encompassing 9 shows under one roof at the NEC, Birmingham. It opened it’s door to 35,000 construction professionals over the 3 day events, with over 650 exhibitors and an inspiring 3 day seminar schedule.
Attendees experienced first-hand the simplicity of use and effectiveness of the platform through live demos on a model railway track the stand.
Managing Director, Luke Allen presented an overview of The Great West overhead electrification project, explaining how Balfour Beatty benefitted from a “huge increase in productivity not having to chase data”.
Luke discussed how Balfour Beatty wanted to reduce delays in field data capture, speed up transmission of quality information to field engineers and managers, improve reporting on its quality assurance processes, and provide high quality data for immediate and future use by the client.
He continued to explain how the highly granular reporting also allows breakdown to individual areas, construction units and wire runs, and how furthermore the laborious compilation of 1000s of paper records has been replaced by automated generation of detailed electronic reports.
